Even in XP-Pen’s own art application for Android I had an issue where the app recognized the input of the tablet and used all it functions correctly, but the Samsung S9+ I was using it on didn’t recognize the Deco’s input as a touch input so it would eventually put the screen to sleep. I don't have enough information from your log to be 100% sure, but I think that supporting your tablet should be straightforward.

However, the odd thing about this is that there’s no delay when actually pressing down and drawing with the pen. Luckily, this is an older tablet and I’m sure XP-Pen won’t be using this pen with their newer tablets. XP-Pen is a popular manufacturer of drawing gadgets, and the Deco is a midrange line of drawing tablets (which lacks a screen to see, so you rely on your PC monitor). You can find a lot of 50 USD tablets from newer companies, but the quality of XP-Pen’s drivers are miles ahead and new companies very rarely create tablet drivers that are even remotely as good as Wacom, Huion, and XP-Pen’s.

Although primarily targeted at artists, graphics tablets can be used as a mouse replacement allowing the user to interact with content on their computer in a different way. This test is meant to see the smoothness of the pen pressure taper when going from max to min pressure quickly. No batteries are required to make the stylus work, but the tablet will only interact with a stylus from XP-PEN so if you lose it you won’t be able to interact with the tablet until you get a new one. Learning to draw on one device, but look at another, can take some work, though it eventually feels natural. They both seem to have similar features, but the deco 01 looks slightly more reliable, from what I’ve read in reviews. It works with most major software including: ibis Paint X, FlipaClip, Medibang, Autodesk Sketchbook, Zenbrush, Artrage, and more, bringing you an all new creative experience with extreme portability and potential. I personally don’t like this edge design because it digs into my wrists since my table is slightly higher than elbow height. Looking at all of what I wrote above, the XP-Pen Deco 01 kinda seems unattractive, but surprisingly enough, I actually had a fairly good time doing my review drawing on it.

The lines at the bottom are slow strokes done with smooth increases or decreases to pen pressure in mind. At the end of the day the Deco 01 V2 by XP-PEN is a graphics tablet primarily targeted at artists creating art digitally. So for example if you wanted to use the tablet in portrait mode only on the left side of your screen you are more than capable of doing so.I also never noticed the cursor lagging so far behind the pen while drawing that it was a problem, so it gets a pass here.

The bar along the top of this window allows you to make program specific profiles which will only be active when the program you assigned is your current active window. I will say that I never used any of the shortcut buttons on the tablet while working in After Effects. However, on a screen-less tablet like the XP-Pen Deco 01, it’s something you can get used to because of the disconnect of pen and screen. That function cycles through all the available monitors in the drop-down list at the top of the Current Screen section when used, so you can use that to quickly switch which monitor your pen input goes to. I ended up not using the film because I didn’t like the feel, but have not seen any cosmetic damage to the tablet or the LINE FRIENDS art on it because of this.In the work area, you can set how much of the tablet interacts with the screen or screens you are working with. Sketching quickly felt naturalistic, as though we were drawing on paper, with the only noticeable indication that we weren’t being the fact that our sketches were appearing on a computer screen instead of the surface we were doodling on. We tested with a variety of functions including pencil sketching, graphic design, image manipulation and note-taking. But at only 8mm thick, you can take it anywhere without the burden of lugging around a heavy tablet!
