Ideally, your votes should be equally distributed within the 5 rating levels, proportionally making up your top 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80% of favourite episodes. Pretending to be a mermaid who has finally got her legs for the day, she embarks on a precious solo adventure, following Mum’s footprints along the shoreline. Established in 1780, Pennells Garden Centres is one of the oldest family run garden centres in the UK.

Each page should feel as sudden assault to the readers sensors with how bright the colours used are, and how they are contrasted against the textured patterns of some of the backgrounds (think lines, swirls, patterns etc), and yet, it somehow just effortlessly works so well together. Although lift-the-flap elements are nothing new, it’s interesting to note that they are always childhood favourites, but are elements used sparingly alongside big name characters like Spot and Peppa Pig. From the thrill of discovering a hermit crab to the disappointment of a melted ice cream cone, the book perfectly captures the joys and sorrows of being a kid.Bluey is an Emmy award-winning Australian children's television programme currently showing on Disney+ in the UK that celebrates play. Along with her friends and family, blue heeler Bluey enjoys exploring the world and using her imagination to turn everyday life into an amazing adventure. The latest in the series, Bluey: The Creek, debuted at No3 on the Australian bestseller lists just last week.

This is something I wrestle with, finding the right balance between oversight versus independence of my five-year-olds.Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids.

What child doesn’t love a story involving cute puppies and for even more fun it’s a 'Lift The Flap' book! Yet perhaps, they are picking up on the complex mystery behind a love for the simple things - like walking by yourself along the shore. When mum goes for a walk by herself along the beach, Bluey runs to catch up with her, keen to share a shell she has found. The story itself is engaging and entertaining, with just the right amount of humor and heartwarming moments. We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child.

It's a fun text for lower level children because they can also relate to Bluey and the other adventures she goes on with and without her family. Products shown, tagged or featured on YouTube by creators are sold by merchants and are subject to merchant's terms and conditions. This Aussie themed board book is so adorable, it’s based on the hit ABC KIDS TV show BLUEY and it’s going to be popular! Along the way, mermaid-with-legs Bluey encounters many things that both challenge and delight her: a surfing champion (voiced by surfing legend Layne Beachley), a flock of seagulls, a big wave that covers Mums footsteps, a weeing pippy, a soldier crab (followed by a herd of soldier crabs), a scary jellyfish and a washed out sand castle that she decides must be a mermaid house. The font is easy to read, and I loved the choice bolded words that are good for early readers who are beginning to read. The lift-the-flap element gives the book another later of intrigue and tactile involvement, as readers are actively participating in the story. I recently picked up the Bluey children's book about being at the beach for my 4-year-old daughter, and it has quickly become one of her favorites. At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills. Firstly though, King Neptune Bingo releases Blueys legs from the mermaid tail, so she can walk for the day.
